A SPECIAL POST

A SPECIAL POST

The Medal Of Honor is our nations highest decoration that is awarded to our military men and women.

The names that are mentioned below, all have been awarded the Medal of honor for their military actions in Vietnam. The 239 young Americans are those who won their Nation's highest award for combat - the Medal of Honor - between 1964, when U.S. forces were first engaged, and 1972, when the last American ground troops were withdrawn from Vietnam.

151 of the 239 Medal Of Honor medals were awarded posthumously!

America owes these men a debt that can never be fully repaid. and in that spirit, this Post is made.

It lists  their names, the date they earned the medal, and their home towns. An asterisk before the name denotes that the  award was made  posthumously.

As you read these names, remember that they are some of the bravest of the brave. Every American should be proud of each one of them.
